Instructions

Prepare pan:
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9x9-inch (23x23 cm) baking pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy removal.
Mix dry ingredients:
In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, ginger, cardamom, allspice, cloves, and nutmeg until well combined.
Combine wet ingredients:
In a large bowl, whisk melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
Add eggs and vanilla:
Add eggs and vanilla extract to the wet mixture; whisk until fully incorporated.
Combine mixtures:
