I made this butter board dessert for a family get-together, and everyone loved layering their favorite toppings & it quickly became the centerpiece of our dessert table.

Ingredients

  • Flavoured Cream Cheese: 250 g (8 oz) cream cheese, softened, 2 tbsp honey or maple syrup, 1 tsp pure vanilla extract, zest of 1 small lemon (optional)
  • Toppings: 150 g (1 cup) mixed fresh berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries), 2 tbsp chopped toasted pistachios or almonds, 1 tbsp dried edible rose petals (optional), 2 tbsp mini chocolate chips or shavings, 2 tbsp granola (optional), 1 tbsp fresh mint leaves, torn
  • To Serve: 1 French baguette or loaf of brioche, sliced and lightly toasted, extra honey or maple syrup for drizzling

Instructions
