→ Croissant Bowls
18 - 2 large ready-made croissant dough sheets or 4 large croissants, halved and hollowed
19 - 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

# Preparation Steps:
01 - Preheat oven to 350°F. If using croissant dough sheets, cut into 4 equal squares. Drape each square over the back of a greased, oven-safe bowl or ramekin, shape gently, and brush with beaten egg. Bake 15–18 minutes until golden and crisp, then allow to cool before removing. If using croissants, slice in half horizontally and hollow out the centers.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large soup pot over medium heat. Add diced onion and minced garlic, sauté for 2–3 minutes until softened.
03 - Add ground beef and cook thoroughly, breaking up with a wooden spoon until browned. Drain excess fat as necessary.
04 - Add canned crushed tomatoes, broth, tomato paste, oregano, basil, chili flakes, salt, and pepper. Stir to combine and bring to a gentle boil.
05 - Add broken lasagne sheets to the pot. Reduce heat and simmer 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until pasta is al dente.
06 - While the soup simmers, combine ricotta, mozzarella, Parmesan, parsley, salt, and pepper in a mixing bowl. Blend well.
07 - Taste the soup and adjust seasoning as needed.
08 - Place each croissant bowl on a plate. Ladle hot lasagne soup into each bowl, top with the cheese mixture, garnish with fresh basil leaves and additional Parmesan if desired.
