# Preparation Steps:

01 - Whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a large bowl.
02 - Beat eggs, milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract in a separate bowl until smooth.
03 - Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined, avoiding overmixing.
04 - Fold the diced apples into the batter evenly.
05 - Heat vegetable oil to 350°F (175°C) in a heavy-bottomed pot or deep skillet, maintaining a depth of about 2 inches.
06 - Drop heaping tablespoons of batter into the hot oil, frying 3 to 4 fritters at a time for 2 to 3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked through.
